'Renske Versluijs graduated at the Art Academy
MAHKU as a fashion and textile designer in 2008. After several
projects in fashion and art, she specialized in working
with leather and started her own label
‘renskeversluijs’ in januari 2011. In the
collections she translates her material experiments
into series of bags and accessories, with a distinct use of
color.
The label ‘renskeversluijs’
is characterized by its elementary designs and distinct use of
color. During the design process Renske experiments with the
structure of the leather and connections with other materials,
such as knitted wool. The collections consist of bags, etuis,
business card sleeves, iPhone sleeves, bags and other handy
accessories.'
